A former 18th century barn sympathetically converted into a stylish and contemporary living space. A light and airy living and dining area/kitchen is open to the eaves and boasts “eco-friendly” under floor heating together with the attractive feature of a wood-burning stove. The kitchen is fully equipped complete with breakfast bar and Fired Earth tiles.
Exposed beams together with wide reclaimed floor timbers throughout add to the overall elegance of the entire property which successfully mixes contemporary fittings/furnishings with small touches of original pieces of antique furniture.
Two spacious bedrooms are bright and cheerful with sumptuous soft furnishings with the Master bedroom hosting a contemporary four poster bed. Its French windows lead onto a balcony complete with table/chairs which overlooks the landscaped gardens and pond. Stone steps lead directly down into the garden. The second bedroom is equally well appointed and features a large arched window giving views of the front gardens.
The interior is completed by a ground floor bathroom with corner bath and walk-in shower and a separate first floor spacious shower room again with walk-in shower.
Extensive landscaped gardens to the front together with the privacy of a paved patio and garden area to the rear specifically for guests. There is a large unfenced pond and parking for two cars.
